EM Graduate Fellowship
The Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management (DOE-EM) Graduate Fellowship Program is an element of the DOE-EM Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program. The DOE-EM Graduate Fellowship Program offers year-long fellowship positions at partnering DOE National Laboratories and DOE-EM Field Sites. DOE-EM Fellows receive training and mentorship in targeted technical areas that support DOE-EM’s mission, including environmental remediation & stewardship, nuclear material processing & disposition, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, climate change, and robotics.
DOE-EM Graduate Fellows receiveĀ a salary, a hiring incentive, funding for training and professional trips, comprehensive benefits, engagement with DOE-EM personnel, and other professional development and networking opportunities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered eligible, the applicant must:
Be a U.S. Citizen.
Have graduated from or be enrolled in a Minority Serving Institution.
Have earned or are approaching a graduate degree.
Have earned or be working towards a STEM degree.
Be eligible for a security clearance based on position requirements.
