SRNL has the capability to provide fuel cycle technology subject matter and project management expertise in all areas of nuclear nonproliferation.
- Provides technology and expertise in packaging, transportation, and storage of nuclear materials
- Provides turnkey services in the design, development, assembly, testing, and deployment of rapid response tools for denuclearization
- Provides expert consultants in the areas of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) technologies to aid in addressing regional, national and international security concerns
- Provides extensive experience in the design, development, and implementation of training courses that support National and Homeland Security missions
- Provides support in fields that include emergency response, urban search and rescue, border protection and law enforcement support, utilizing the CBRN areas of expertise
SRNL Training, Test and Exercise (TT&E) facilities at the Savannah River Site offer a unique suite of capabilities and characteristics that can provide an optimal location for TT&E programs. SRNL owns or can obtain access to a variety of radionuclides for TT&E use, including Special Nuclear Materials. SRNL also offers on-site Radiological Worker classroom training and a variety of venues to support field training scenarios.
