Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) Cooperative Education Program

Overview of the Cooperative Education Program

The SRNS Cooperative Education Program (Co-op Program) provides opportunities for students attending 4-year universities to alternate semesters of academic study with semesters of paid, career-related, learning experiences. The goal of the cooperative education program is to help bridge the gap between academic study and its application in professional practice.

Each student's Co-op experience is monitored both by the SRNS Co-op Office and university faculty to ensure learning. Cooperative Education, as the term implies, represents a partnership among the university, students, and SRNS.
